Smart Irrigation Mesh for 400 Farms
A LoRaWAN mesh of solar-powered soil-moisture nodes feeding an agri-coop dashboard. From schematic to 400 units shipped in 6 months, including CCK certification.
Your hardware idea deserves more than a good engineer. It deserves a team that has shipped real products.
// We own the full stack
One team. No handoffs. No hassle.

// TRUSTED BY TEAMS THAT SHIP HARDWARE
Four practices, one team. We do not hand off between hardware, firmware and cloud. The same engineers see your product from first sketch to last mile.
Schematic capture, multi-layer PCB layout, DFM review and BOM optimisation. RF, mixed-signal and high-speed designs.
Bare-metal C/C++, FreeRTOS, Zephyr and MicroPython. Power-optimised firmware with secure bootloaders and OTA updates.
A transparent process designed to take you from a rough idea to a mass-manufactured product. The same engineers see every phase.
We analyze your requirements, select the right tech stack, and perform a feasibility audit to ensure viability.
~2–4 weeks
Detailed schematic capture, PCB layout, and firmware architecture planning focused on power optimization.
~4–8 weeks
Building functional MVP units for testing, validation, and real-world field trials.
~3–6 weeks
Final DFM review, component sourcing, and mass manufacturing oversight to scale your product.

From Nairobi-based startups to multinationals. We focus on long partnerships. Most clients have shipped more than one product with us.
We pick mature, well-supported toolchains. Your product needs to be maintainable five years from now.
Selected from the last 24 months of engagements across agritech, utilities and logistics. Each one running today in the field.

Compact LTE-M livestock tracker with GPS, motion detection and 2-year battery life for GenePlus Kenya.
Two field-proven platforms born out of client work. Order, deploy and scale without a multi-month development cycle.
Pick the model that matches your stage. Sprint to validate, Project to build, Retainer to sustain.
A focused 2-week engagement to audit your hardware design, firmware architecture or connectivity stack. Ideal for teams that need expert eyes before committing to a full build.
Fixed-scope milestones from discovery to production-ready hardware. Same engineers across every phase — no handoffs, no surprises.
Ongoing engineering support for products already in the field. Fleet ops, OTA pipelines, hardware revisions and compliance guidance — all on a predictable monthly spend.
We are an engineering firm before we are a vendor. The differences show up in the boring places: weekly reports, BOM transparency, who owns the gerbers at the end.
The same engineers handle schematic, firmware and cloud. No silos, no telephone-game bugs at integration.
Fixed-scope milestones, BOMs you can audit, weekly burn-down. You will never see a surprise invoice.
Schematics, gerbers, firmware source and cloud configs ship with the final delivery. We are partners, not lock-in vendors.
Founded in 2021 by hardware engineers who got tired of seeing African IoT projects ship abroad. We exist to keep that capability local.
We are a small studio of hardware, firmware and cloud engineers, based in Westlands, Nairobi. We design products that survive the field, not just the lab.
Embed Solutions started in 2021 when our co-founders kept watching promising East African hardware startups shop their schematics overseas, then wait six months for a partial answer. They built this studio to be the opposite: senior engineers in the same room, decisions made in days, code and gerbers handed back at the end.
Today the team is eight engineers and growing. We have designed 48+ boards, shipped 2,400+ devices into the field, and helped clients in 14 countries through certification. ApiLink and DripFlow are our own products, born out of work for clients who asked us to keep iterating.
